World Heritage Sites in Nepal

There are two types of world heritage sites in Nepal 
Natural category and cultural category.


The world natural heritage sites of Nepal are:-

Sagarmatha National Park:- Located in Solukhumbu district eastern part of Nepal. This national park is situated at the world's highest altitude too. Mt Everest is situated in this national park. Sagarmatha national park is very popular for adventure trekking, Mountaineering in the world.
Chitwan National Park:- located in the Chitwan district of Nepal's Terai region. The Chitwan national park is very popular for wildlife (Jungle Safari). lots of tourists visit this national park for enjoying the wildlife safari in Nepal. 

The world cultural and historical heritage sites of Nepal are:-

Lumbini - located in Rupandehi district western Terai region. The birthplace of Lord Buddha. This is popular for sightseeing.

The Kathmandu valley, world-historical heritage sites are:-Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. located at the valley, popular for sightseeing.

The Hindu temple world heritage sites are:-

Pashupati Nath:- popular for sightseeing, located at Kathmandu in the festival time we can see Hindu culture too.

Change Narayan:- located in Bhaktapur district popular for sightseeing.

Swayambhunath:- (Monkey Temple) is located in Kathmandu Valley. popular for sightseeing. this is the best valley viewpoint. from here we can see Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur Valley.

Boudha Nath:- located at Kathmandu Valley. This is the biggest stupa in the world. During the festival time, we can see Buddhist culture also here. this is popular for sightseeing.
